The Ocean Star 51.2 Exclusive is the first performance cruiser of the Ocean Star range. A modified version of the popular Ocean Star 51.2, this new model combines the charm and luxury of the classic Ocean Star 51.2 being able to travel comfortably and steadily at greater speeds. It features a variety of technical functions and enhancements, making it a faster, sportier sailing yacht. On Deck

The Ocean Star 51.2 Exclusive features all the fine qualities of the classic Ocean Star 51.2, while the hull color has been changed from the standard Ocean Star deep blue to deep red. It entails a long list of enhancements and modifications on deck as standard equipment. This includes a self tacking staysail, running backstays and a bigger sail area: 169m2 as opposed to the classic version of the Ocean Star 51.2, which has a sail area of 107m2. Moreover, the sails have been changed from in-mast furling to full batten, whilst the rudder has been pre-balanced in order to optimize performance. The mast has been altered from a 2-spreader to a 3-spreader deck step type with lazy jacks and FACNOR Faclide. Furthermore, the ballast weight has increased by 100kg and its depth increased from 2.0m to 2.61m. There are nine winches, since two separate winches are fitted for the runners.
 

Interior

The Ocean Star 51.2 Exclusive consists of three main cabins: one spacious forward cabin and two aft cabins, all with own head. A separate skipper’s cabin lies in the peak. This model also features a modified living area with larger sofa at the dinner table for up to 10 people. The standard interior finishes are made of marine ply covered with teak or cherry wood veneer.
